Requirements:

2) Compact
3) Take pictures FAST
4) Long battery life
5) Settings are easy and cool! hahaha

Additional: being shockproof and waterproof are a plus but you can suggest one that isn’t

If i put my regular, non waterproof camera in a ziplock bag [etc.] and put it in ANOTHER ziplock bag,
would it stay waterproof?

i know the picture or video would be blurry but would the camera have a high chance of getting damaged?

i put salt in a ziplock bag [only one] and put it in a bucket of water and it didn’t get wet.

what do you think?

I am looking at a Canon PowerShot D10 12.1 MP Waterproof Digital Camera with 3x Optical Image Stabilized Zoom and 2.5-inch LCD or a Olympus Stylus Tough-8000 12 MP Digital Camera with 3.6x Wide Angle Optical Dual Image Stabilized Zoom and 2.7-Inch LCD (Black). Which one should I get? Thank you!

I am looking into buying a small digital camera that takes pictures with sharp detail, zoom doesn’t matter really as much. Looking to spend under $400 US if at all possible. I want one that will fit into a purse or pocket, no permanently protruding lenses. Waterproof a plus but by no means a requirement. Any recommendations?
